To give you peace of mind that you'll have medical insurance when you need it, HCN offers coverage through Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield Direct HMO and Emblem Health EPO. Each plan offers an extensive network of providers.

Good dental health is important, and that's why HCN offers dental coverage through The Guardian.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
HCN offers a medical reimbursement account which will allow you to pay for the cost of medical, dental and vision expenses not covered by medical/dental health plans with "pre-tax" dollars. You can also establish an account to pay the cost of qualified dependent daycare expenses with "pre-tax" dollars.
Vision Discount Programs
Provided by The Guardian Dental Insurance is a discounted rate for routine eye exams, as well as a discount for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
Life Insurance Coverage
HCN provides life insurance at 1.5 times your annual earnings. HCN also offers you the opportunity to purchase additional voluntary life insurance if you so desire.
Disability Coverage
HCN provides short-term disability coverage at no cost to you. HCN also offers the option to purchase long-term disability.
403(b) Plan
The 403(b) plan gives you an opportunity to save and invest for retirement. You are eligible to contribute on a pre-tax or Roth basis.
