Moving a loved one from treatment to The Hospice Inn can be a heartbreaking decision. All my husband asked for was to be in a place that had no hospital beeping sounds, where we could be alone and he would be able to watch his favorite television show. Upon our arrival I knew immediately the right choic had been made. As a nurse, I used to think of Hospice as caring for the physical and medical needs of the patient. Boy was I wrong. Besides treating my son with the dignity and respect that hospice stands for, the love and consideration that was poured out from everyone was exceptional.
